I'm counting down the hours, and am so anxious and excited to get this book into my hands once and for all!
Just going to go over my final thoughts about what I think will happen...
People:
Harry will live. (and won't be a horcrux)
Voldemort will die. (duh!)
Harry & Ginny will get together.
Ron & Hermione, copy and paste.
Snape, I luv ya, but I think it's your time to go...even though I do think you're ultimately a good guy.
I'm worried for
Hedwig- in CoS, there is one (maybe 2 in the series) reference to her flying like a ghost. (and that worries me *_*)
Hagrid, I'm betting he'll be an unfortunate casualty.
I'm going to go with Emerson (from Mugglenet) on this, I too think that with the sheer number of
Weasleys, that at least one of them is going to be off'd. I'll put my bet on either
Arthur or Molly.
Horcruxes:
I think Mundungus, after raiding Grimmauld Place, sold/gave the locket to Aberforth; the Hufflecup will be in that vault that we see the trio falling out of (?) on the British cover; and my guess is that there is a sixth Ravenclaw relic that they need to find. And, of course, Nagini. Poisoned by a rat I hope (a rat by the name of Wormtail, perhaps?)
Miscellaneous:
Zomg, can't explain the dragon on the Deluxe cover- maybe they find it in Gringotts after they raid that Hufflepuff cup vault?
I'll keep updating with my theories through the day if I remember!
I've been a Harry Potter fan since late November 2002. I remember so clearly how it was that I got into this incredible series; how I was actually introduced to it so many years before, and didn't even know how much of a fan I'd become years later. I'm sad that within a day or two, this series will come to it's conclusion in my mind, and that I will no longer get to hang out in bookstores until midnight to get the next book that continues Harry's journey! I think every fan will agree when I say that I am not looking forward to the void that'll be left when I read the last word on that final page. I am, though, moved that Harry even entered my world. Back before he entered my world, never did I think I would spend so much of my time and energy invested in this boy wizard...how I could get so emotionally invested in a *story*! And I thank J.K. Rowling, through her writing, for driving me to feel that way!
MM (which, if you don't remember, stands for "Mischief Managed")
